Major Introduction
Chemical Engineering is the application of chemistry, physics, biology, and mathematics to the process of converting raw materials into more useful or valuable forms. More recently, chemical engineers are employed in the industries of nano-technology, biotechnology, and environmental technology. The curriculum is designed to provide students with background courses and hands-on experiences necessary to pursue their career opportunities in a variety of industries and government agencies.
