Major Introduction
The department aims to foster a composer with global sense as well as national spirit who can lead the high-tech fusion media era. To accomplish the aim, it requires students to be able to play at least a traditional musical instrument and to understand diverse global arts as well as music. It also requires them to have a lot of stage experiences through concerts and concours. It holds an annual concours under the sponsorship of Hwaseong city. Recently, it adds the competition part for composers in 2017. It also puts an emphasis on such integrated education as computer music education through various programs to foster students with integrated ideas and skills.
